ReReadery is committed to maintaining a safe, trustworthy, and user-friendly environment for all users, including buyers, sellers, and other parties interacting with the platform. We aim to ensure that all content posted on the platform aligns with our values, complies with applicable South African laws, and respects the rights of others.
By using the ReReadery platform, users agree to abide by this Policy. If you do not agree with these terms, you must cease using our services immediately.

ReReadery reserves the right, at our sole discretion, to suspend or remove any user content that we believe violates these guidelines, whether or not the content is specifically listed as prohibited.
2.1 Sellers' Obligations
Sellers must ensure that all content related to their product listings, including titles, descriptions, images, and other related content, are accurate and conform to ReReadery’s guidelines. Sellers are responsible for ensuring that all information provided regarding the books for sale is truthful and not misleading. Sellers must also ensure that all content they post complies with all applicable laws, including but not limited to the Consumer Protection Act and the Copyright Act.
2.2 Buyers' and Other Users' Obligations
Buyers and users must refrain from posting inappropriate comments, reviews, or any content that violates the platform’s rules. Reviews must be based on honest, factual, and fair experiences with the products purchased on the platform. Users should report any content they believe violates this policy.
2.3 Reporting Violations
Users may report content that they believe violates this policy or is otherwise inappropriate. ReReadery provides a mechanism to flag or report:
Users can report such content directly to ReReadery by contacting admin@rereadery.co.za. Upon receiving a report, we will investigate the issue and take appropriate action, including removal of the content, issuing a warning, or account suspension if necessary.
3.1 Immediate Removal of Prohibited Content
ReReadery may remove content immediately if it is determined to violate this Content Moderation Policy or any applicable South African law. Examples of content that may be removed include:

ReReadery employs a combination of automated and manual systems to monitor content for compliance with this policy. We continuously review product listings, comments, and reviews to ensure that they adhere to our guidelines. However, due to the volume of content, we cannot guarantee that all violations will be identified immediately.
3.3 Account Suspension or Termination
Sellers who repeatedly violate the Content Moderation Policy may face suspension or termination of their accounts, as outlined in the Service Level Agreement for Sellers. ReReadery will investigate any incidents of content violations and take appropriate actions, including issuing warnings or suspending accounts.
4.1 Copyright Compliance
All content posted by users, including images and product descriptions, must not infringe upon any third-party copyrights or intellectual property rights. ReReadery will promptly remove any content reported as infringing upon intellectual property rights, in accordance with the Copyright Act and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act.
4.2 License to Use Content
By submitting content to the platform, users grant ReReadery a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and distribute that content on the platform and for marketing purposes. This license allows ReReadery to use the content to promote books for sale, advertise ReReadery services, and enhance the platform.

ReReadery reserves the right to update or amend this Content Moderation Policy from time to time. All changes to the Policy will be communicated to users through updates on the platform, and users are encouraged to review the Policy periodically. Continued use of the platform after changes to this Policy are posted will be deemed as acceptance of those changes.
In the event of a dispute regarding content moderation or content removal, users are encouraged to contact ReReadery directly to resolve the matter. ReReadery will act as a mediator and investigate any claims in good faith. If necessary, disputes may be escalated to the appropriate regulatory authorities, as per South African law.
